Sirius Medical Ranked Most Innovative Dutch Healthcare SME by the Chamber of Commerce, Third Overall
Eindhoven, Netherlands – December 1, 2023 – Sirius Medical, a leader in Surgical Marker Navigation, has been recognized as the most innovative Healthcare SME in The Netherlands, according to the prestigious Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100. This annual competition highlights and celebrates the exceptional innovation and creativity of Dutch SMEs, and in 2023, Sirius Medical has emerged taking the top three spot overall, first spot of sector Healthcare.
The CoC Innovation Top 100 is a highly anticipated event in the Dutch business landscape, showcasing the country's outstanding innovators who are driving change and shaping the future. It serves as a testament to the innovative spirit of Dutch entrepreneurs and their commitment to growth and development.
Sirius Medical was founded in 2017 at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, where surgeons were seeking an alternative method to localize breast tumors. Sirius Pintuition®, a product that enables precise detection of non-palpable breast tumors, was developed rapidly, and brought to the market in 2019. Since 2019, Sirius Medical has expanded into a global company, operating in over 20 countries, performing more than 14,000 procedures, and serving over 200 hospitals that use Sirius Pintuition.
